[WHO WE ARE]
E-Waste Buddies NPC is a youth-led and youth-focused non-profit organisation creating environmental and social impact through responsible e-waste collection, reuse and recycling.
Impact figures as at August 2026
Based at Oude Molen Eco-Village in Pinelands, Cape Town, we work with households, schools, businesses and communities to keep electronic waste out of landfill while creating employment, skills development and practical work opportunities for young people, particularly youth from underserved communities.
From collection and dismantling to refurbishment, reuse and responsible recycling, we aim to recover as much value as possible from every electronic item that comes through our facility — while using the growing circular economy to create opportunities for the next generation.
Small steps, big impact.
